Our Founder

Tapasije Mishra

He is a veteran investment banker with over two and a half decades of experience. He formally co-founded the erstwhile SSKI Investment Bank in the mid-1990s, which was subsequently acquired by IDFC Ltd and renamed IDFC Capital. In the period 1998-2013, the firm was amongst the largest domestic Indian investment banks with clear leadership in the infrastructure sector.

Hurdle Rate's approach to investing is long-term and we prefer to hold our investments rather than seek to churn our portfolio.

Our mantra for successful investing is simple – patience, rigorous research and a set of rules, which has helped us grow.
